20/05/10 - WOD
Nimmi taking on the Burpee Bar Jumps - Good Going Nims!!!!
Just seen your comment on the mainsite Rev-nice work with the 70Kg bar. Great work at Funct again last night. I struggled with the 70Kg so dropped to 65Kg for the workout. Coach M showed his class again with 85Kg and Shop Physical was doing Cindy with his new 10Kg vest on!!!! See you all later for some more pain!
I had 1 rep left and failed twice before I got it! it was like oh man am I ever going to see the end of these! Great effort by Mat FF though to get the r'xd, He's got the skill to pay the bills. Looking at the main site times though, everyone at FunctFit did awesome!
Also heard about SP's exploits with the weighted vest. My aim eventually is to be able to do 20 even rounds weighted, but your already there Matt, class stuff brother! (bet you were looking forward to more squats today mind following Fat Cindy) I was thinking of you when I read todays WOD, you crazzzy cat!
I'm thinking of doing todays WOD fat, Machine and SP flying this morning along with all the am crew. I am thinking of holding an olympic lifting master class soon, if theres enough interest I would close the gym for 2 hours and it will be intense oly lifting only.
I think it would be a great way to perfect all your oly lifts and would benefit all who attend.
A little note on fridays WOD. Just came back from main site. I really enjoyed the workout but looking at the times others have posted I have that niggle in the back of my mind, did I do it right? maybe some of my squats should have been deeper or maybe we're just getting fitter and we don't notice it till we compare with others? or maybe its a bit of both? Whatever it may be training at Funct Fit has encouraged me to keep improving and just be the best I can be and I love it!
Anyway enough about me, WOW what a night,it was awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves. From the new girls to Mat FF and the Fat Boys (you know who you are) an insane twist guys. Big effort from Craig on the double WOD and Longsocks has a young Longsock apprentice. I caught him giving little longsocks advice on how to wear your long socks!

Dear rev when reading your posts, i'm always laughing, your energy in the gym is second to none, and your posts are not to shabby either, oly lifts i,m up for aswell, nice one bro!
It was Brill last night, it had everything, a good workout, people discussing form, technique, weight loss, improved physiques and Jamie getting upset 'cause we think his Top Gun character got killed in the film. Never mind Jame your looking good and alive and kickin!
Heres another great solgan - " My body's a temple if yours is an amusement park get to FunctFit!" only thing is my back isn't big enough to use so we'll have to use Mat FF.
