04/08/10 - CATCH UP
Catch up on the workout's throughout the week you have missed!
About 10 month ago maybe a little longer, I read an article on Mikko in a magazine after Coach M had introduced me to the wonders of crossfit. The article had a few WODs and simply said - try these. One workout was Cindy, which after consulting Mat FF, I attempted, and was left thinking - What the hell was that! The other workout shown was Mary, I looked at it and thought, Hmm, can't do handstand push ups, you struggled with the 5 pullups on Cindy how are you going to cope with the 15 shown on this workout and WHAT THE HELL ARE ONE LEGGED SQUATS????? I remember saying to the coach "Mat, I can't do hanstand pushups" Mat's reply was simple - "Yet" And he was right, the pistols previously have proved challenging, but they too are now in the bag. Now I know what you're all thinking, Yeah, yeah Rev body weight exercises are right up your street, and you'd be right. However my point is this, you, me, we no longer think about not being able to do something but when we're going to do it. With the great coaching we have available at the gym anything can be possible, as has already been shown by quite a few Functfitters.
Way to show the rest of the exercise world full of sanctimonious bull shit and crap unsubstantiated comments how to do it.
