  1. Yeah ok I know what your all thinking, he's like mr topsy turvey. However after a few technical corrections by coach M, it's now "REV PLAYING LIVE AT THE MINSISTRY OF UPSIDE DOWN"

Great Fun guys you left just too early longsocks!

  4. Thing was Gav, 'cause the rings move around quite a bit it didn't help my Ant(off of Ant & Dec) forehead. I looked like the red ball from a snooker table to start. Once Mat showed me where to put my legs, head and rings to start movement I was able to stabalise better. Did the lap to celebrate once I got them proper (though not in socks last night).

  8. I'll tell you guys,I cried when I got my first regular Handstand pushup. When I got my first HSPU on rings it was more.......orgasmic.The Rev had left the building.Coach M cracked out 3 perfect form HSPU on rings straight away mind you aka Chris Spealer. The man knows his stuff. I'm just happy that he passes it on to us! Power to the longsocks!

  9. We've got the video to prove that the Rev can now do HSPU on the rings with great form his self, and only 10 mins of coaching. The Rev is truely becoming the all round athlete 3...2...1...GO Rev!

  10. I hope the video provided as much entertainment for everyone watching as we had making it! Get to Funct Fit where the workouts are hard but the results you acheive are unbeleivable. I would just like to stress no crossfitters were harmed in the making of this film.

  11. I've got a couple of things to share with you, (yes he's off again).

First, on Fridays workout WELL DONE EVERYONE, just come back from crossfit mainsite and all Funct Fit times and weights were mighty impressive compaired to many guys who have been doing this stuff for quite a bit longer. Super charged effort from Matt FF, Max and Matt SP, I can never seem to get in amongst you speed merchants when you fly, but I love trying, your efforts spur the rest of us on. Big up to the Famous Five who set off the same time as me and top motivation from SP and Jack. (I think SP fancied going again by the look on him!). Why not try posting your times Guys and how the WODs went, you're efforts are turning Funct Fit into a mighty fine establishment. Lets tell the world!!!!!!

  12. My second point, things are getting serious on the fat loss challenge. Matt F and Matt SP are training like firebreathers, their well on their way. The Rev is saying extra prayers at mealtimes . Jack is keeping quiet, he's flying at the moment mind you so something must be working. Chris longsocks is hitting the r'xd on a regular basis and he's got an extra long pair of socks. Gav's always got a plan and they usually work. And Finally Jamies' got Jaffa cakes. I've heard of the zone, I've heard of Paleo diets but if this thing works it could become the most famous diet of the lot. It definitely seem to be focusing his training though, he's asked to do Murph on Sunday, now that is dedication!

  13. Sat morning, quick stop at gym on way to work.
Just seen your time from yesterday Gav, top banana! great time, wish I could have stayed to catch your workout. I missed all the quick guys yesterday, I was training the same time as Mat FF but couldn't watch him blast it as I had other things on my mind at the time. (Like where the next breath was going to come from!)

  14. I'm in the zone Jon, and I quite like burpees when there are less than 20 at a time. I struggled today though with 5 rounds of K2E.

  15. My time today guys (Saturday) 35:12 RX'D!!! This was not as bad as you think Jon - no less than 85kg brother. The big man has got your back!!

Sorry havn't updated the site guys - the girl friend left the leads in the gym (and women say they can multi-task)! will be back on track tomorrow!

  16. YOU DA MAN FF! I only did 60kg on the walk having to clean the weight from the floor. You're right though Mat, found walking with this weight comfortable and spent the time doing laps of the patio thinking how close to the 85 I'd get.(Also thought half way through I bet Mat will get close to the r'xd). I think the thing that would trouble me might be the push jerk up to lock. Double unders went well for the first 3 rounds, K2E not to bad for me Gav, had a slight grip issue towards the end and found my shorts kept falling down.(Due to all the trimming into shape thats taking place). Time to complete 3 rounds 14 mins time to complete 5 rounds 30:10. DU's buckled me on last two rounds. Provided great entertainment to my wife and her freind. Note to Claire, Following audience at DU time, Nina asked if I provide the entertainment at the gym with all my face pulling exploits! Wish I'd read your post pre WOD Matt might have pushed that weight up a little! This Hero workout was tough, Ding Dong to those that R'XD. See you Sunday guys.
