  1. couple of posts for you tonight.

Just had some news on the wire, fantastic effort put in by the twilight shift tonight of Gav, Claire, Adam W and coach Mat. The workouts over the last week or so have been quite demanding but its great to see the FunctFit crew stepping up to the plate and crushing them. Scooby dooby doo!

Oh by the way, my washing was dry when I got home! but Anwen grassed me up, typical.

  2. On to the FunctFit fantasy world cup football team. Tonight is the last instalment, the midfield.

First I'm going for our midfield general, he reads the game like a chess grandmaster, asses the challenge in front of him and finds a way through with sublime skill and great power, he's our very own David Becham, its' Gav, keep it up golden balls. The next midfield position goes not to George Best but its Adam West in his Vest. He's been training hard lately and the results are really starting to show keep it going Adam. Our holding Midfielder will be Dylan, I can't see anyone getting past him! However like Rio Ferdinand Dylan is prone to the odd injury so with this in mind I'm putting Geraint on the bench as a precation. For Big units they're both putting in an incredible amount of effort into their workouts. Proof that crossfit can be for everyone. Our final positon goes to Jurgen Jack Klinsmann. Although klinsmann didn't play midfield, Jack does kinda resemble him. Back off hols and looking good Jack my boy.

The Team is complete so now it's off the 2010 crossfit games to compete for the Affiliate cup. (Thinking about it we'll leave the footballers with their daft off side rule to go kick their little ball and swear at one another in South Africa)

  4. Having sat patiently here in SA, eagerly awaiting the FF team news, I have to say how pleased I was with your comments Revaldo. However I have some concerns. I am assuming that due to your attacking left and right back that you are playing a diamond midfield formation. Also I notice that you haven't picked yourself, with this in mind I think I should drop to the bench. Having been to three previous world cups, I think it is time for a change. I think we should install at the top of the diamond an inspirational leader with an extraordinary engine, someone with enthusiam in abudance, Forget Stevie G it has to be Jonny E.

  5. Revaldo if your not playing (which I think you should be) then you must be appointed with a worthy role in the team. I'm sure we would all be glad to have you as our team mascot always full of encouragement and very sound advice. Just one other thing Rev, bring your kit just in case as an extreme all rounder I'd be glad to take anyone on by your side.

  6. Chief, of course you make the bench, but think of it as more of a squad, a FunctFit squad where as coach M has taught me right from the start no one gets left behind at our gym.

Thanks Mr Beckham, great to see you posting on our site, give my regards to Frankie Lamps. I've drawn England in the sweep so tell Rooney no arsing about!

The FunctFit Mascot sounds good,(hadn't considered that) nice Mat.

Maybe I could be say........The Waterboy.

Either way its great to train with such a superb group of guys, and that goes out to all of you!

Oh Late, late, late post, Cograts to Craig on the Muscle up. Chalk it up on the board big fella!
