21/06/10 - WOD

This is how burpees should be done!!

Complete 5 rounds for time of:

50 ft walking lunge (20kg/15kg overhead)

21 Burpees

  1. Wow, it's like synchronized Burpees! Great photo Claire! We didn't plan this, (I'm just trying my bloody hardest to catch up with Mat again!). It's like when they show the affiliates competing together. Yet again - I love it!!
    Just a quick note to say it was fantastic to see so many people working so hard yet again tonight, You really are a special group of people, I love you all! (I think my hormones might be playing up).

  3. Thought I would let you know some of the times Rev 39:? For me 42:? For SP, 44:? for Max, gav 53:? Where do you place in the hero WOD leader board

  4. Because of Achillies Tendon trouble when running did:

    5 rounds of
    2km bike ride
    25 towel pull ups
    50 push ups

    time 42:40

    Even with my subs ended up thinking what a WOD! Great effort by you lot at the gym yet again, I recon sub 40 with the r'xd tag takes a super human effort.
    Oh one last thing, I tried to make sure all pushups were c2d. They bloody well do the trick I can tell you! looked in the mirror straight after the WOD (I just happened to pass one) my body no longer felt like my own (couldn't feel shoulders,chest,hands,legs)nor looked like my own. The results with regards to how my physique has changed over the past few month has been astonishing!

  6. Right people, on a serious note, did a stretching prep with coach M before todays workout. firstly thanks Mat for the time you put in for me. My hips/pelvis area has caused me quite a bit of trouble over the years and yes before you all say it's probably because I'm getting long in the tooth. But, the work Mat did with me for 15mins has left me in no doubt that FunctFit has the complete package. Theres a reason behind all this but I don't want to preach on to much tonight. However I can clearly see what I need to do in order to be able to train and thus stay fit an healthy well into later life! I'm thinking of asking Mat if I can book him for 1 to 1's just to hone stretching movements. Or maybe a group of us can book the gym to work as a class. The results will be astonishing just like we're seeing with the training. Thanks again Mat, Claire, Funtfit!
